Tips on working in a deli?

I’m a nervous wreak I haven’t worked in 3 years but it was time so I did a lot of application today I got a call back for a deli position if any ever did this please tell me all the ups and down of working at a deli

The ups were it was a pretty normal speed throughout the shift other than major holidays. Not really any rushing. The down side is injuries on the equipment :sweat_smile: I was always slicing my hands up or burning them on the Saran Wrap burner.

Another up is being around food all the time but relatively healthy foods:)

The work isn’t hard to remember, it’s simple tasks. But cleaning for closing is a nightmare. It takes an hour or longer
