I just got diagnosed with pre diabetes any advice on what to do to get healthier
Nutrition! Whole foods, plants, lean meats.
Avoid overly processed foods.
Food is medicine
Work with a dietician. They are going to great advice on what you can/can’t eat or cut back on. Exercise is also important
Cut down on sugar and high fat food as much as possible and begin to get more physical activity.
Avoid sugars. Have the dietitian give you a list of foods you can eat. Walk daily if possible. Walking takes some of the calories away.
Start slowly to adjust yourself to the changes.
