How long after you lost your mucus plug did y’all go into labor. I have really bad sharp pains that are right below my stomach. I’m 38 weeks pregnant.

With my daughter I went into labor the next day
I lost mine a week before the baby came. But I had minor contractions so I wasn’t worried, but I had some blood come out and I went to the doctors that morning at 5 and they induced me. Always go get checked if you don’t feel right. I wouldn’t have went in because they didn’t hurt like a 4-5 would. But I was at a 2 contacting every five minutes but my son’s heart would do something on the monitor they didn’t like so they induced.
If your having cramps at 38 weeks go get checked better to be safe then sorry ! Good luck

It’s not an indication of labor. I wouldn’t rely solely on that. It can always regrow.

I was 38 weeks pregnant when I lost mine…water broke 2 days later.
Lost mine two weeks before my due date and still had to be induced. Everyone is different.

Never lost my plug prior to labour, always during for all 4
Mine came out around 7ish am . I had baby at 11:54. I was 38 wks
Same night. Had baby next day
With in a couple hours in active labor at least I was in the beginning stages when I lost it starting the night before
