What’s the most effective way to clean my washing machine?

I’ve looked up several different ways, but I’d prefer something that has been tested by others that can advise me

Little bit of white vinegar in the detergent tray and fabric softener
Also put some baking soda in the drum.
If is front load you should be able to drain the water out and clean the filter to avoid mold smell.
Let the washer run in a hot cycle or some washers have self clean. Gently wipe the seal and let it dry with the door open overnight
Do not use bleach. I have a Samsung washer front load for over a year and I have never smelled mold at all.

I put bleach in my washer for whites. Does that count as cleaning? I never heard of cleaning your washer. I always figured it cleaned itself. It’s job is cleaning.

I buy what looks like a large pill. I think it’s called afresh. Put in in the washer and let it cycle around. Use hot water.

Yes baking soda and white vinegar

Bicarbonate of soda and white vinegar.put together in drawer then an empty cycle

Read your manual.

Affresh tablets

Carbona cleaner

Soda crystals and vinegar

I just put baking soda and vinegar, let it run a cycle with hot water. I also pur baking soda and vinegar in the thing that you put fabric softener in and where you put bleach in.

I use affresh once a month

They make cleaning tablets

I actually put 2 dishwasher tablets in mine on a hot wash does the trick x

I use affresh. Tide has a cleaner but I hate the smell of it.

I use Affresh tablets or bleach. Our machine has an option for cleaning the machine.
