Mommas who have had kids have rsv, what were the symptoms? My 2yo has been sick for just under a week, I took her to urgent care and my husband made me feel crazy for it at first. They didn’t test for rsv, she was negative for cold and flu. Doc said she has an upper respiratory infection and ear infection, prescribed antibiotics and sent us home. While she’s not in daycare so rsv wasn’t a primary concern, I feel like she should be making some improvements 5 days into antibiotics, but she seems to be getting slightly worse each day. She was a preemie, with breathing trouble and a muscular vsd, so I kept her away from daycare because I didn’t want her to catch something until we could more easily treat her for anything she could catch.
