What are the side effects of Clomid?

I am starting clomid tomorrow and am nervous. Wondering if this has helped you get pregnant and what did you have for side effects (if any)

I had no side effects, but I didn’t get pregnant on it either. I stopped taking it and got pregnant two years later. I hope it works for you.

I took Clomid to get pregnant. I got pregnant right after my first week of using it. I did not have side effects from it.
My doctor told me “You better hope you get pregnant after the first round of using this because the higher the dose, the more likely you are to have multiples.” It took one dose for me, 17 years ago.
Good luck, I hope it helps you too.

I was an infertility coordinator for several years, many years ago! If you have simple infertility lots and lots of our patients got pregnant! Good luck!

Letrozole is better and safer than clomid.

I used Clomid 16 years ago and had a successful pregnancy. The only SE I remember what hot flashes or something like that, I remember being super hot and sweaty randomly. Best of luck on your journey

I took it for both my pregnancies. The first time took several rounds (I believe 8 ) and the doctor said if I didn’t get pregnant the final round he would refer me to a fertility specialist I ended up pregnant that round. The second time it only took 1 round

I had no side effects, I also did not get pregnant while taking Clomid… Best of luck…

I started at a fertility specialist. I took one round, I felt slightly dizzy after the very first pill…but only for 5-10 minutes.
I did not get pregnant after one round of Clomid and my doc scheduled me for an IUI, and got pregnant.

Tried to get (and stay) pregnant for years. On Clomid 3 months and bam…my son is 14 yo now.

I used it 9 years ago, it took 2 rounds for me. The only side effect I remember is hot flashes.

I had no side effects and got pregnant the first round of taking clomid

I took it for 1 month and got pregnant with my twins. I was on the lowest dose. Only symptoms where the odd hot flash

I got pregnant twice taking it

Some light cramping and sometimes a small headache. Watch for vision changes. Been on it off and on for yearsssssssss.
You can always ask for Letrozole but doesn’t always work for everyone. But is safer.

I first took it 40 years ago. I went on to have 4 perfectly healthy children from using it. I did gain a little weight which l lost plus more throughout the pregnancies and a few hot flushes. Other than that all was well. The benefits far outweighed the side effects for me.

I ovulated twice on it and didn’t catch it.

I experienced really bad headaches and knew a couple woman that had the same problem. I switched to letrozole and didn’t have an issue. I hope something is successful for you.

Headaches, mood swings, horrible cramping, spotting, dizziness, hot flashes

I had hot flashes something serious. I took 5 rounds and got pregnant that 5th round

I was very emotional, both in a sad way and a irritable way. Things bothered me very easily. I would cry over small things! Oh and the migraines were awful!
