Is food regression normal?

I’ve babysat my nephew since he was 3 months old. He will be 2 in October. He used to be such a good eater, ate anything we gave him and now all of a sudden about 2 or 3 months ago he just decided to be picky and won’t eat anything he doesn’t recognize or even eat foods that were his favorite 2 days ago and now won’t touch. Is this normal? Is it like sleep regression but with food?

My daughter does that when she’s teething becomes very picky

All of my kids started with eating every thing…. Now they are so picky! And they all like different things, but they still eat whatever’s for dinner, I let them be picky for lunch lol. It’s completely normal I’m convinced all kids go through picky phases!

Completely normal for all my kids :joy: my 2 year old daughter is currently in this phase.

Normal… keep offering options and hang in there. It will change

Yes , normal, most kids go through this at this age
