I feel like I never do enough as a mom…my kids complained all easter a bout not getting enough…where did I go wrong and does anyone else struggle with this?

The thing i’ve realized is that no matter how much you do nothing is enough for kids. I think we spoil our kids too much. But now I’ve told them that they need to earn treats or outings. It’s made a huge difference. They are more grateful and appreciate everything. I don’t give in anymore.
I have always been very upfront with my children about finances, the cost of items, budgets etc., My kids do NOT miss out and my kids do NOT tell me I didn’t purchase them enough etc., I try to be real with them. The world we live in is expensive. My kids are extremely appreciative of what they receive
