Anyones dog become clingy while you were pregnant?

First pregnancy anybody else’s dog become super clingy I’m only 8/9 weeks and she won’t leave my side at all

Expect it! And it’ll get worse. (But cuter all at the same time) My pit told me I was pregnant before I knew I was pregnant. Had to snuggle with my belly at night. She would nose bump it randomly. My daughter is now almost 3 and my pit still nose bumps her instead of kisses. Their bond is amazing!

Yes my dog followed me all around

Both of my cats were extra clingy when I was pregnant.

Yes, our male German shepherd would not leave my side throughout my entire pregnancy.

She was obsessed from the get go. We got her the day I found out at 6 weeks. My child is now almost 5 and he is her baby, she is so in love with him.
She would sleep with her head on my belly all the time, kiss my belly and when Bub was born she would alert me to every sound he made.

My dog & my cat used to follow me around. They loved to put their heads on my pregnant belly whenever I was in bed. My cat, who never followed me into the bathroom, started sitting outside the shower whenever I was in there.

Mine did. She was clingy before we found out

Yeah my Staffordshire wouldn’t never leave my side bless her soul miss her

Obsessed . Before I found out I swore I was Snow White with all of our farm animals following me

My pup had no idea. But my staffies omg they sniffed it out straight away

Some of my favorite memories of being pregnant were sweating to death because my dog wouldn’t leave me alone. She was best friends with my daughter before she was even born and they were inseparable from the day we came home. It was like they had always known one another. Now that our dog has passed, my daughter’s favorite first memories include her. Every child should be so lucky.

Oh yea. Embrace this
They are now protecting you and the baby. They know you are vulnerable.

Had my sisters dog with me while pregnant and she even had fake pregnancy with me…. Dogs can be funny :slightly_smiling_face:

Time to rid the dog :woman_shrugging:

That’s very true with cats and dogs. My cat when I was pregnant never left me alone and when my water broke the little sh*t wouldn’t get off of me I had to physically move the cat off of my stomach for I could go to hospital and from what my mom told me she cried and cried and cried for 2 days while I was in the hospital. I miss that cat :black_cat: :broken_heart::broken_heart:
